You can describe your case in any language at all, including one not on this list. The assistant will write it up in English so agents can quote on it, and you keep reading in your own language.
What is translated, and what is not
There are two different things happening here, and the difference matters because one of them involves sending text to a company outside Australia.
The site itself — navigation, the guides, the visa pages, the legal documents — is published in all 25 languages. Public pages are translated automatically and cached, so nothing personal is involved.
Your own case is different. Your brief, your messages and the quotes you receive contain your relationship history, your immigration status and sometimes your health. Translating those means transmitting them to a translation service overseas, and Australian Privacy Principle 8 exists precisely to stop a business doing that to somebody without asking. So personal content is never translated automatically. It carries a Translate button instead, and you decide.
Describing your case in your own language
You do not have to write your brief in English. Registered agents quote on it in English, so it has to get there somehow, and the usual answer in this market is that the applicant struggles through it alone or pays somebody to do it.
The assistant will take what you have written, in any language including one not on this list, and write it up as a brief agents can quote on. You read the result before it goes anywhere, and you keep reading the site in your own language throughout.
It is a language tool and nothing more. It will not tell you which visa to apply for or whether you are eligible, because under section 280 of the Migration Act 1958 only a registered migration agent or an Australian legal practitioner may answer that.
Why these 25 languages
They are the languages most spoken by people applying for Australian visas, not the languages that were cheapest to add. That is why the list includes Nepali, Punjabi, Sinhala, Tamil, Khmer and Burmese alongside the ones every site has.
The whole point of a marketplace where quotes arrive in a fixed format is that they can be compared. Somebody reading their fourth quote in a second language, under time pressure, is exactly the person a comparison is worth the most to.
