Why these exist
Every one of these answers a question that somebody would otherwise have to ask a migration agent, and pay for, or guess at. None of them is advice. They do arithmetic on published numbers, and they check conduct against published rules.
That distinction is the whole design. Under section 280 of the Migration Act 1958 it is a criminal offence to give immigration assistance in Australia unless you are a registered migration agent or an Australian legal practitioner. VisaBid is neither. So these tools stop precisely where advice would start: the cost estimator will tell you the Department’s charge for a family of four, and it will not tell you whether to apply.
What each one is actually for
Before you pay anyone
The operator check is the one to run first, and it takes about a minute. It asks fourteen questions about the person asking you for money, not about your case, and every question maps to a rule in the Code of Conduct or the Migration Act. Most people who lose money to an unregistered operator could have seen it in the first conversation, in the answers to questions like these.
Before you budget
The 비용 계산기 separates the two halves of every visa price: the Department’s charge, which is the same whoever lodges your application, and the professional fee, which is not. Almost every argument about migration fees comes from mixing those up, and a quote that omits the government charge can look thousands cheaper than one that includes it.
Before you commit to a date
The deadline planner works backwards from a date that cannot move. The value is not the arithmetic, it is seeing on day one that an overseas police certificate can take eight weeks, rather than discovering it in week seven.
Before you assume you are short
The points calculator scores the published skilled migration points test. It reports a number. It does not tell you whether that number is enough, because that depends on invitation rounds and occupation, and answering it for your situation would be immigration assistance.
None of these can tell you which visa to apply for, whether you are eligible, or what your chances are. In Australia only a registered migration agent or an Australian legal practitioner may answer that, and it is a criminal offence for anybody else. 사례 설명하기 and several of them will, in writing, for free.
